Plein Air Paintings
For me, one of life’s most exhilarating experiences is standing in the open air with nothing between me and my subject but an easel, some paint and my brushes. In plein air painting, time and light are added to the basics of color, composition, and form. Because most plein air paintings must be done quickly, they tend to be smaller.
(All paintings are oil on panel and, unless otherwise noted, are framed with natural wood.)
