When the gallery expressed an interested in carrying her works, Anderson thought it would be interesting to see if she could find any vintage photographs from the area. She did. Paintings resulting from those finds, as well as others inspired by vintage photographs that generally reflect a summery, seaside atmosphere, have found a receptive audience in Avalon.

The gallery's primary season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but it is open year 'round.
